Une \u00e9quipe de passionn\u00e9s sous l\u2019impulsion de Georges Leskens se lance \u2013 en 2002 \u2013 dans la restauration de l\u2019ensemble des installations du Moulin David.<\/p>


Plus de 10 ans de travail seront n\u00e9cessaires pour remettre en \u00e9tat les machines qui avaient subi les outrages du temps. Les installations sont maintenant en parfait \u00e9tat de fonctionnement. L\u2019association ouvre la porte du Moulin pour les visites libres ou en groupe, et d\u00e9veloppe de nombreux ateliers en lien avec l\u2019eau, les moulins et l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour petits et grands. Une quarantaine de personnes est active dans l\u2019association qui se regroupe tous les mardis matin au Moulin David et partage de nombreux moments conviviaux.<\/p>

Le Moulin David est \u00e0 l\u2019abandon. Les machines rouillent. La municipalit\u00e9, propri\u00e9taire du b\u00e2timent, s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 tout jeter \u00e0 la casse. Un \u00e9lu divonnais, Georges Leskens, ing\u00e9nieur retrait\u00e9 du CERN, alerte le maire sur la valeur exceptionnelle de ce patrimoine et le convainc de le conserver. Il rassemble une \u00e9quipe d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs, techniciens, artisans, tous passionn\u00e9s de m\u00e9canique et d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, tous b\u00e9n\u00e9voles, pour la plupart des anciens du CERN qui s\u2019attellent \u00e0 la restauration des machines.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Join us In 2002, a team of enthusiasts led by Georges Leskens set about restoring all the facilities at Moulin David. More than 10 years of work were needed to restore the machines, which had suffered the ravages of time. The installations are now in perfect working order. The association opens the doors of the Moulin for group or individual visits, and has developed a number of workshops on water, mills and electricity for young and old alike. Around forty people are active in the association, which meets every Tuesday morning at Moulin David to share many convivial moments. History of Divonnelectro 2002 The (re)discovery The Moulin David was abandoned. The machines were rusting away. The municipality, which owned the building, was preparing to scrap it all. A local councillor, Georges Leskens, a retired CERN engineer, alerted the mayor to the exceptional value of this heritage and convinced him to conserve it.
